Who We Are
Clatsop Care Center Health District (CCCHD) has been providing Clatsop County with exceptional senior care for over 40 years (Founded in 1979). With a graduated care approach, CCCHD offers In-Home Services, Memory Care, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing to meet the specific needs of each individual. As a not-for-profit organization, our mission is to serve the needs of our community first.
More Than Skilled Nursing
This is more than a skilled nursing facility. It's where patients see family and friends, where caregivers do amazing work every day, and where the North Coast community comes for care. CCCHD is a hub for health care in our community, offering specialty services right here in our small town that residents would otherwise have to travel to a larger metropolitan area to receive.
Our Services
Our Facility
Our current facility opened in 1926 and has cared for generations of Clatsop County residents. A new facility is planned on land the District already owns on Olney Street in Astoria, adjacent to the District's existing assisted living building.
The District is a public entity governed by an elected Board of Directors, who oversee the District's operations and long-term planning on behalf of the community.
